Countryside Energy

Charjo is a brand by Countryside Energy, LLC.

We develop, own and operate Tesla Supercharger sites across the US. Countryside Energy is a clean energy company working across DC fast charging, commercial solar, and renewable energy services, with offices in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania and Detroit, Michigan.

How we work

Countryside Energy is dedicated to expanding clean energy in ways that strengthen both economic opportunity and community resilience. We operate with transparency and care for our customers, investors, and stakeholders, and we take pride in being a reliable partner who delivers on commitments.

Charjo is where that work meets the road. Every site in our network is one we selected, entitled, financed, built, and continue to run — which means the people a host partner talks to on day one are the same people answering the phone in year ten.

The team

Jordan Rhyne

Jordan Rhyne

Managing Director

Jordan founded Countryside Energy to build a more sustainable future, and leads the company's charging infrastructure work.

Most of his career was spent leading teams for Tesla's Supercharger group, where he managed development and site acquisition for hundreds of projects across twelve Midwestern states, from Ohio to the Dakotas. That work covered site development, permitting, utility coordination, and asset management for energy infrastructure.

He graduated from Kenyon College in Ohio, where he helped start and operate The Kenyon Farm. Watching a project go from an idea to something real is one of his favorite things. Jordan lives in Philadelphia.
